The customer specialises in the production of value-added automotive glass for premium car brands. In view of the high standards of end customers, inter-operational and final inspection must be carried out repeatedly to the required quality. As part of the relocation of production and cost optimisation, the option of refurbishing, modifying and relocating the existing line from Spain within the group was chosen.
The project involved the relocation, reconstruction, refurbishment, and modification of an output control line for premium car windshields containing 15 industrial robots. The line is equipped with the following operations:
