Motivation for automation

In the production of resection electrodes, production needs to be controlled and released. For this purpose, a semi-automatic device has been developed to measure the length of the electrodes for the entire production line. 

Project description.

The subject of the implementation was the development and delivery of equipment for semi-automatic control of the total length of the resection electrode family.

Process description:

  1. Oblsuha will insert the resection electrode according to its type into the insertion matrix.
  2. After confirmation of the electrode foundation, the electrode is moved to the measuring area by linear travel
  3. In the measuring area, the total length of the electrode is measured with an accuracy of (+-0.003mm) via a calibrated end gauge using a set of two optical micrometers
  4. The control computer provides information to the operator about the measurement output
  5. The output is a report with the measured values
  6. The device collects the data and communicates with the parent ERP system
